APRIL 2th Quiet Walkway Adventure at Huskey Gap
Easy, 3-4 miles
Meet at 8:15 am at Sugarlands Visitor Center, Training Room, located under the building with the visitor amenities. Carpool to trailhead.
APRIL 9th Little River and Cucumber Gap
Easy to moderate, 5-7 mile
Meet at 8:15 am at Sugarlands Visitor Center RV parking lot.
APRIL 16th White Oak Sinks via Schoolhouse Gap
Moderate, 6 miles
Meet at 8:15 am at the Tuckaleechee Caverns parking lot. Carpool to Schoolhouse Gap trailhead.
APRIL 23th Ramsey Cascades
Difficult, 8 miles
Meet 8:15 am at the Greenbrier Picnic Area and carpool to trailhead.
APRIL 30th Indian Creek Loop
Moderate to Difficult due to distance, 9 miles
Meet at 9:00 am at Oconaluftee Visitor Center and carpool to Deep Creek Campground & trailhead.
Cost for each hike is $20.00/person with the proceeds going to Friends of the Smokies. Make payment to: Friends of the Smokies, PO Box 1660, Kodak, TN 37764. Special gift for all participants! A complimentary Friends membership is provided with registration of the entire series. Unless otherwise specified, meet at 8:15 am for each hike.
Bring day pack, water, snacks, hiking poles, rain gear, appropriate shoes & medications. We suggest that you prepare for hikes by working out aerobically 3-4 days a week on a regular basis.

Troutfest - 6 pm Friday, April 25th
Join The Little River Chapter of Trout Unlimited at Troutfest, a fundraising Banquet & Auction on Friday, April 25, 6:00 pm held at the Knoxville Airport Hilton Hotel Alcoa, TN. Accompanying the delicious dinner that will be served to attending guest will be both a live and silent auction as well as a bucket raffle. As always, the proceeds will benefit the conservation efforts of the Great Smoky Mountain Fisheries Department and will also help the Chapter fund youth education programs. Throughout the years, the Little River Chapter of Tout Unlimited has donated more than $170,000 to the Park Fisheries Department from proceeds that were generated by Troutfest events.
